What is Langou? How is it different from other keyboards?
Langou is the world's first AI Agent-powered keyboard. Unlike regular keyboards, it doesn't just help you type — it types for you. It understands chat context and generates multi-style reply suggestions with one tap. Not a better typing tool — a tool that replaces typing.
Which chat apps are supported?
WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Discord, WeChat, QQ, DingTalk, Lark, Slack, Skype, Line, and all major chat apps. Also supports prompt optimization for ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Claude, and other AI tools.
Can I still type normally without AI suggestions?
Yes! Basic input (pinyin, handwriting, voice) is always available. AI reply suggestions are also completely free with no daily limits — use them whenever you want.
Is Langou really free?
Yes! All features are completely free — AI reply suggestions, prompt optimizer, typing features, cloud sync, themes, and more. No usage limits, no hidden fees.
What permissions does Android need?
Accessibility Service (to read visible chat text) — a standard Android feature. Optional Screen Capture for enhanced OCR. All permissions can be revoked anytime.
How good are the AI replies?
We use MiMo-V2.5-Pro (420B parameters). Over 70% user adoption rate. AI considers context, emotion, and relationship closeness. Not perfect — always review for important conversations.
Which devices are supported?
Android and Windows. iOS, macOS, and HarmonyOS under development (Beta expected 2027).
Will there be ads?
Never. No ads, no banners, no promotions. Langou Input Method is completely free to use.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Settings → Export Data downloads everything (dictionary, stats, preferences). Account deletion removes all data within 30 days.
Is it open source?
Android client is based on Trime (GPL-3.0) and will be open-sourced. Backend and Windows client are currently closed-source. Community contributions welcome on GitHub.
