1. Information Collection
Langou follows the data minimization principle, collecting only what's necessary:
- Conversation context text (visible chat messages, max 10)
- Device info (model, OS version, app version)
- Account info (phone number for login)
- Usage stats (AI call counts, latency — anonymous)
We do NOT collect: GPS location, contacts, gallery, call logs, SMS, browser history, or data from other apps.
2. Information Use
- Generate AI reply suggestions (core function)
- Improve AI recommendation quality
- Account management and usage tracking
- Product improvement and bug fixes
- Legal compliance
3. Data Storage & Transfer
All data encrypted with HTTPS/TLS 1.3. Chat text processed in server memory only — released immediately after AI generation, never written to disk. Servers located in Shanghai, China.
4. Your Rights
- Access: View your stored personal information
- Export: Download your usage data and dictionary
- Delete: Remove your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent: Disable AI features anytime in Settings
5. Third-Party Services
- Xiaomi MiMo AI API: Generates AI replies (we send conversation text, not personal info)
- Alibaba Cloud SMS: Sends registration verification codes
6. Children's Privacy
Langou is for users 14+. If we discover data collected from children under 14, it will be deleted immediately.
